The 150-room five-star Federal Palace Hotel opened in August 2008 after extensive refurbishment.
Following the promulgation of Lagos State’s new gaming law, the casino has been operational since December 2009, with more than 100 slots and five table games. Its design, sophistication and modernity have introduced a completely new gaming and entertainment experience to the West African tourism market.
Situated in the commercial hub of Victoria Island in Lagos, the hotel overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and was the venue for the signing of Nigeria’s Independence Declaration in 1960. The hotel’s luxury rooms range from junior suites to two-bedroom apartments and the Explorers Restaurant offers the opportunity for guests to enjoy distinctive Nigerian music.
Also included in this development is a conference facility, swimming pool, and gymnasium. The adjoining redeveloped Federal Palace Towers hotel reopened in 2011.
