Entry to Sun International properties

For your safety, and that of our staff, the following entry requirements have been implemented. Individuals that do not comply will be prohibited. Points of entry have been limited to control access.

Only MVG cardholders will be allowed onto casino floors.

You must accept Sun International’s COVID-19 Entry to Premises Terms and Conditions.

Sanitise your hands at entrances, check-in counters and before entering our vehicles.

Undergo a temperature check and complete a medical screening questionnaire.

Anyone with a temperature over 37.3°C, or presents with flu-like symptoms, or has indicated a high risk of exposure to the virus, will be isolated for a secondary assessment.

For multipleday hotel stays, temperature checks will be done when arriving or departing the Hotel each day.

Wear a cloth or disposable mask at all times.

Keep a distance of 1.5 meters from others at all times.

Hand hygiene

Only 70% alcohol-based hand sanitisers are used at Sun International.

You must sanitise your hands at entrances, check-in counters and before entering our vehicles.

Our staff is required to wash or sanitise their hands regularly after specific activities, and maintain strict hygiene.

Hand sanitiser, touchless where possible, will be made available at all high-traffic areas and inside hotel rooms.

Surface sanitisers or wipes, will be available to wipe down frequently touched objects.

Where possible, porters, security, or other employees will open doors and press lift buttons at access areas.

Doors may also be left open to reduce surface touching.

Procedure in a suspected COVID-19 case

Sun International has appointed dedicated teams to manage suspected COVID-19 cases. Should you not feel well while on our property, please speak to any of our Managers for assistance.

The following steps will be taken:

The person will be isolated, and health authorities notified.

Areas the person came into contact with will be isolated. If the person is a Hotel guest, their room will be removed from service.

Should the person test positive, the room and isolated areas will be decontaminated by a licensed expert.

An investigation will be carried out in consultation with internal and external experts.

A secondary assessment will be conducted to evaluate the person’s risk exposure, and if a further medical evaluation is required.

The decision to close part of the business for deep cleaning will be based on the facts available at the time.
