How to Enter

  1. Make sure you have a confirmed booking at a participating Sun International property for any dates between 27 June and 20 July 2026.
  2. Send an email to groupmarketing@suninternational.com with the subject line "Winter Holiday Competition Entry."
  3. In your email, include:
    • Full name and surname
    • Booking reservation number
    • Check-in and check-out dates
    • Sun MVG membership number (if applicable)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. The Promoter
    This competition is run by Sun International Limited ("the Promoter") for the benefit of guests with a confirmed booking at a participating Sun International property.
  2. Competition Period
    The competition opens on 27 June 2026 and closes on 20 July 2026 at 23:59 ("the Closing Date"). No entries will be accepted after the Closing Date.
  1. Eligibility
    1. Entry is open to South African residents aged 18 years or older.
    2. To enter, the entrant must hold a valid, confirmed booking at a participating Sun International property for dates falling within 27 June 2025 to 20 July 2025.
    3. Participating properties are Boardwalk, Carnival City, Golden Valley, Meropa, Sibaya, Sun City, The Maslow, Time Square, The Palace of the Lost City, and Wild Coast Sun.
    4. One entry is permitted per reservation number. An entrant with multiple qualifying bookings may submit one entry per booking.
    5. Employees of Sun International, its subsidiaries, associated companies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
  2. How to Enter
    1. Entrants must send an email to groupmarketing@suninternational.com with the subject line "Winter Holiday Competition Entry."
    2. The email must include the entrant's full name and surname, booking reservation number, check-in and check-out dates, and Sun MVG membership number where applicable.
    3. Incomplete entries, including entries missing a valid reservation number or required personal details, will be disqualified.
    4. Entries will be verified against the Promoter's reservation system. Entries with a reservation number that does not match an active booking within the eligible period, or that cannot be verified, will be disqualified.
    5. The Promoter is not responsible for entries that are not received due to technical failure, network issues, or any other cause beyond its reasonable control.
  3. Prizes
    1. Two runner-up winners will each receive a hamper consisting of one Fieldbar drinks cooler, two Sun International branded towels, and two Fieldbar drinks bottles.
    2. One grand prize winner will receive a 2-night stay in a family room at the Sun International property of their choice, including breakfast for the duration of the stay.
    3. The grand prize must be redeemed by no later than 31 January 2027, subject to availability and may exclude peak periods.
    4. Transport to and from the property for the grand prize stay is for the winner's own account.
    5. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any alternative prize.
    6. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize, or component of a prize, with one of equal or greater value should the original prize become unavailable for any reason.
  4. Winner Selection
    1. Winners will be selected by random draw from all valid, verified entries received by the Closing Date.
    2. The grand prize winner will be drawn first, followed by the two runner-up winners.
    3. The draw will be conducted by the Promoter, or its appointed representative, and the process will be documented for audit purposes.
  5. Winner Notification
    1. Winners will be notified via the email address from which their entry was submitted within 48 hours of the draw.
    2. Winners must respond to confirm acceptance of their prize within 48 hours of notification. Should a winner fail to respond within this period, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner and select an alternative winner by random draw.
    3. Winners may be asked to provide proof of identity to confirm eligibility before a prize is awarded.
  6. Use of Personal Information
    Personal information submitted as part of an entry will be processed by the Promoter only for purposes of administering the competition, verifying eligibility, conducting the draw, contacting winners, awarding the prizes and complying with any applicable legal, audit or record-keeping requirements. The Promoter will not use entrants’ personal information for direct marketing purposes unless the entrant has provided a separate and specific consent to receive marketing communications. Personal information may be shared with the Promoter’s appointed representatives or service providers only where necessary to administer the competition or award the prizes, and will otherwise not be shared except where required by law. The Promoter will take reasonable measures to protect the personal information and will retain it only for as long as reasonably required for the purposes set out above or as required by law. Entrants may contact Sun International’s Information Office regarding access to, correction or deletion of their personal information, or any objection to the processing thereof.
  7. Publicity
    1. Winners may be asked to participate in publicity related to the competition, including the use of their name and/or image on Sun International's social media platforms.
    2. Participation in such publicity is voluntary. A winner may decline by notifying the Promoter in writing, and this will not affect their entitlement to the prize.
  8. General
    1. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel this competition at any time without prior notice, should circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary.
    2. The decision of the Promoter in respect of any aspect of this competition, including eligibility, verification, and winner selection, is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
    3. The Promoter, its directors, employees, and agents accept no responsibility or liability for any loss, damage, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrant or winner arising from this competition or from the acceptance or use of any prize.
