Aweh Thursdays 2025: Gaming Promotion Rules

  1. Any person who is under 18 years, or who has been excluded, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in the Aweh Thursdays gaming promotion (“gaming promotion”).
  2. This gaming promotion is exclusive to MVG members, and is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members. In addition, all persons who are precluded from participating in gambling activities as determined in the Sun International Employees, Suppliers, Service Providers and Concessionaires Gambling Policy may not participate in this gaming promotion.
  3. Participating casinos: Boardwalk, Sibaya, Flamingo, Golden Valley, GrandWest, Meropa, Sun City, Time Square, Wild Coast Sun and Windmill.
  1. MVG members must use their MVG cards during the gaming promotion in accordance with the terms and conditions of the MVG programme.
  2. This gaming promotion excludes all slot machines within the Prive(s) at the participating casinos and will commence on 5 June 2025 and will terminate on 31 July 2025.
  3. To be eligible to participate, participants must be a MVG member and actively playing slot machines between 19h00 and 22h00 on every Thursday during the gaming promotion to stand a chance to win a share of Prizes and XtraPlay at the participating casino.
    GrandWest will be doing Cash Draws on the 26 June and 31 July 2025 only.
  4. Prizes are awarded as described in the corresponding casino’s prize schedule which may not necessarily be identical to other participating casinos. The relevant information may be sought from the casino(s) concerned.
    • 1st Lefika Villa, 2-night stay
    • 2nd Suite Time Square, 2-night stay B&B
    • To be eligible to participate, participants must be a MVG member and have won an AWEH prize during the promotional period.
    • All AWEH winners will receive one entry to stand a chance to win the 2 x night stay at Lefika Villa and second prize a 2 x night stay in a suite at Time Square.
    • Transport will be for the winners own account.
    • An electronic draw will be held at Central Office to determine the winner.
    • The winner will be notified via email or telephonically on the 6 August 2025.
    • The prize may not be used during peak period, school holidays or public holidays and is subject to availability. All additional extras incurred by the winner are to be settled directly with the Hotel on your departure.
    • The prize is valid for 6 months from the date of notification.
  5. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must positively identify themselves by producing a government issued identification document when signing for receipt of their prizes.
  6. All decisions are final and binding, and no correspondence or appeals will be entertained.
  7. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotional competition will be disqualified.
  8. In the event of any technical failure, malfunction or damage to the slot machine played the play on that particular machine will be voided regardless of the spend.
  9. Every participant in the gaming promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
  10. In the event that management makes any exception or deviation from these rules, it does not mean that the casino waives any of its rights.
  11. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found not to be enforceable by law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force to the full extent that is permissible by law.
  12. These gaming promotion rules are the official rules for this gaming promotion and supersedes any other version. Copies of these rules are available at the Sun MVG Desk upon request and at suninternational.com.

Management reserves the right to terminate this gaming promotion without prior notice.
