The Vault

3. Participants will receive entry for the draws based on points earned as below:

Vault Launch

• All Diamond and Platinum MVG members are invited to the Vault Launch.
• Tickets are available at the kiosk, and the draw will be conducted manually in the Privé. 

Draw 1

• All MVG members who fall within the top 300 combined casino points earners as at 06h45 on Wednesday, 15 July 2026.
• Tickets are available at the kiosk, and the draw will be conducted manually in the Privé.

Draw 2

• All MVG members who fall within the top 300 combined casino points earners as at 06h45 on Wednesday, 29 July 2026.
• Tickets are available at the kiosk, and the draw will be conducted manually in the Privé.

Draw 3

• All MVG members who fall within the top 300 combined casino points earners as at 06h45 on Wednesday, 12 August 2026.
• Tickets are available at the kiosk, and the draw will be conducted manually in the Privé.

The Vault Finale

• All MVG members who fall within the top 300 combined casino points earners as from 06h45 on 1 July to 06h45 on 24 August 2026.
• In the event of a tie for the 300th position, all tied points earners will be included, notwithstanding the fact that this will result in more than 300 finalists.
• If any of the top 300 GrandWest points earners cannot attend the draw on the night, points earners (from position 301 upwards) will be invited to attend as replacements to complement the 300 invitees, maintaining the merit-based access criteria.
• Participants who qualify for The Vault Finale draw will receive entries into the finale draw based on their final leaderboard ranking, determined by casino points earned during the promotional period.
• Entries will be allocated as follows:
  • Participants ranked 1 to 10 on the final leaderboard will receive three (3) draw entries each.
  • Participants ranked 11 to 50 will receive two (2) draw entries each.
  • Participants ranked 51 to 300 will receive one (1) draw entry each.
• The number of draw entries allocated to each qualifying participant will be final and based on the audited leaderboard standings at the close of the earning period. All entries will be issued on the day of the finale draw in accordance with standard draw procedures. Each ticket will be uniquely numbered and will contain the name and account number of the qualifier.
• Only valid GrandWest casino points will be considered in the tally. Gaming management will conduct audits of points earned during the promotional period and prior to the finalisation of the top 300. Points erroneously allocated will be rectified upon an audit of casino points earned.
• Qualifiers will be contacted by VIP Services and informed of their status.
• These tickets will only be issued on the night and should be placed in the draw bin upon registration. The draw bin will close 15 minutes prior to the draw.
• Participants will earn casino points playing slots or tables using their Sun MVG cards in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Sun MVG programme.
• Bonus points do not count towards the casino points earned during the promotional period.

4. The number of draw entries a participant may be eligible for may be communicated prior to the draw. In such instances the number of draw entries communicated is subject to variation. Variation may occur due to the difference in time between the data extraction and the time when draw entries are activated by the participant. In the event of bonus draw entries, which are awarded based on card tier, such entries are also subject to variation due to the timing of card tier regrades.
5. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration.
6. The promotional competition runs on the following dates and times:

• Vault Launch ǀ Friday, 3 July 2026  | 20h00

• Vault Draw 2  | Friday, 31 July 2026  | 21h00

7. Promotional dates and times may change. Such changes will be advertised on property without any changes to the dates and times in these rules. Participants are required to take note of any changes prior to the actual day and time of the draw.
8. Participants must activate their entry into the draw(s) on the day of the draw(s) at the casino prior to the actual draw(s) within the specified times during which entry is open. The opening and closing times for the entry to the draw(s) at the casino will be advertised through mediums used by the casino.
9. Entries will close automatically 15 minutes prior to the start of draws on each respective draw day.
10. Prize winners will be selected by way of manual draw. Participants who are present for the draw must present themselves to the promotional jockey within 120 seconds of their names being drawn. The participant concerned must produce the corresponding printed or electronic ticket, personalised MVG loyalty card and/or government issued identification document/card or passport to be eligible for the prize.
11. Should the prize winner not present themselves within 120 seconds (two minutes), a redraw will take place.
12. A participant who does not wish to be present at the draw may nominate a proxy for draw(s) held on a specific day to represent him/her at the draw by completing a proxy form at the casino prior to the draw subject to the terms and conditions set out in the proxy form. Only the participant who was selected as the winner (and not the proxy) will be entitled to the prize(s) subject to these rules.
13. The participant agrees that the proxy is only permitted to represent him/her at draws on a specific date. Where a proxy is representing multiple participants on the same draw date, the corresponding participants will be disqualified. Where prizes were issued to a proxy that was representing multiple participants as aforesaid, the corresponding participant agrees to return the prize(s) to the casino without compensation.
14. If a participant/proxy is not present for the draw or does not present himself or herself within the specified time with the corresponding printed or electronic ticket, personalised MVG card or identification document; or if he or she cannot be identified by the casino in the above manner within the 120 seconds concerned, a redraw will occur for another prize winner without any compensation.
15. The total prize value of this promotional competition is over R2 480 000:

• At Launch Draw at 20h00 a total amount of R150 000 in cash will be issued as prizes as follows: 1 x R60 000, 1 x R40 000, 1 x R30 000 and 1 x R20 000.
• At Vault Draw 1 at 21h00 a total amount of R160 000 in cash will be issued as prizes as follows: 1 x R60 000, 1 x R40 000, 1 x R30 000, 1 x R20 000 and 1 x R10 000 (Enigma).
• At Vault Draw 2 at 21h00 a total amount of R160 000 in cash will be issued as prizes as follows: 1 x R60 000, 1 x R40 000, 1 x R30 000, 1 x R20 000 and 1 x R10 000 (Enigma).
• At Vault Draw 3 at 21h00 a total amount of R160 000 in cash will be issued as prizes as follows: 1 x R60 000, 1 x R40 000, 1 x R30 000, 1 x R20 000 and 1 x R10 000 (Enigma).
• At Vault Finale Draw at 21h00, a total amount of R1 500 000 in cash will be issued as prizes as follows: 1 x R1 000 000, 1 x R200 000, 1 x R100 000, 1 x R80 000, 1 x R70 000, 1 x R30 000 and 1 x R20 000.
• Participants who rank within the top 30 positions on the final leaderboard will share in a total amount of R250 000 in XtraPlay which will be issued as prizes as follows: 10 x R12 500 (positions 1 to 10), 10 x R7 500 (positions 11 to 20) and 10 x R5 000 (positions 21 to 30).
• The mini Vault Enigma (if the correct cipher is selected), a total amount of R100 000 in cash will be issued as prize as follows: 1 x R100 000.

Enigma Mechanics

16. At each Vault draw, one Enigma entry is selected from the qualifying draw pool. The Enigma holder steps forward and chooses one of ten cipher envelopes, each sealed with a gold wax seal and containing a secret combination.
17. If the selected cipher opens the mini vault, the Enigma holder wins R100 000 in cash. Only one of the ten ciphers is the correct combination.
18. At the Finale. Each draw finalist (in the order in which they were drawn) may choose one of seven envelopes containing a cipher to try at the main vault. The winning cipher unlocks The Vault and reveals the R1 000 000 cash.
19. The remaining six winners will receive the balance of cash prizes according to their draw sequence. Of those six, the winner drawn earliest will receive the highest remaining cash prize, with each subsequent winner receiving the next highest prize in descending order, regardless of the draw position of the million-rand winner.
20. Prize winners must sign receipt of prizes.
21. Where applicable, the images of the prize(s) used in advertisements or displays may not necessarily be the actual prize(s), model(s) or specification(s) issued as prizes. The relevant information may be sought from the casino.
22. In the event that the promotional competition provides prize winners the opportunity to risk their prize for a higher value prize or another prize altogether, the prize winner concerned will not be compensated for losing the prize he/she risked. In such instance, the prize concerned will be returned to the prize pool.
23. Participants consent by virtue of their participation that their personal information, including but not limited to, their name, surname, and/or Sun MVG number, being announced or displayed by the casino.
24. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must positively identify themselves by producing a government issued identification document when signing for receipt of their prizes.
25. All decisions are final and binding, and no correspondence or appeals will be entertained. Participants do, however, have the option to approach the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board in the event of a gambling-related dispute.
26. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotional competition will be disqualified.
27. In the event of technical failure, malfunction or damage to the device used during the promotional competition for the selection of prizes and prize winners, irrespective of the cause thereof, another suitable device or method will be used at the sole discretion of Management, and the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board will be informed of such changes.
28. Every participant/proxy in the promotional competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
29. In the event that management makes any exception or deviation from these rules, it does not mean that the casino waives any of its rights including but not limited to enforcing these rules in future or similar circumstances that resulted in the exception or deviation concerned.
30. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found not to be enforceable by law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force to the full extent that is permissible by law.
31. These rules are the official rules for this promotional competition and supersedes any other version. Copies of these rules are available at the MVG Office upon request and at suninternational.com.
32. Management reserves the right to terminate this promotional competition without prior notice and without any compensation, or to enhance prizes or increase the number of prizes or vary other aspects of the promotional competition where such changes benefit the participants (excluding earning criteria).
