Valley of Waves

Monkey Plaza
Located above the Valley of Waves, at the end of The Bridge of Time, the Monkey Plaza is an outdoor event venue with breathtaking views of Sun City.
The Greenhouse
Situated alongside the ninth hole of the Gary Player Golf Course, the Greenhouse offers a unique setting to enjoy your event.
The Palace Pool Deck

Sun City Hotel Pool Deck
With its idyllic setting, the Sun City Hotel Pool Deck is perfect for after-conference cocktails or pre-dinner drinks.
Cabanas Picnic Lawn
Linger longer at the lake... Located at the foot of the Cabanas Pool Deck, the Cabanas Picnic Lawns provide the ideal location for easy, breezy post-conference networking.

Taking inspiration from the natural surrounds of Sun City, our four ‘Earth’ venues each have their own distinct African-inspired flavour and feel.
Baobab Outlook
Known as ‘The Tree of Life’, baobabs can be found in abundance at Sun City Resort. Located behind The Palace Pool Deck, Baobab Outlook can accommodate up to 110 guests in a seated buffet or 100 delegates for a cocktail party.
The Maze of the Lost City
Covering half an acre and described as the largest permanent maze in the Southern Hemisphere, The Maze of the Lost City can be accessed via a 100-metre long suspension bridge and has magnificent views overlooking the resort. Perfect for team-building sessions, enjoy an ice-cold drink at the Maze Bar after your Sun City conference.
Crocodile Lounge
With its location at the Lost City Golf Course, Crocodile Lounge is one of Sun City's best-kept secrets and can be hired as an indoor and outdoor venue – or both!
Venues: Fire
Whether you’re hosting a large group of delegates or a smaller, more intimate event, Sun City’s ‘Fire’ venues are mostly set around boma fire pits and are perfect for relaxed, outdoor banquets.
The Amphitheatre
Located behind the Valley of Waves, with its theatre-style setting, the Amphitheatre is ideal for awards evenings, prize-giving sessions and intimate post-conference concerts.
Botsalanong Boma
An open-air banqueting venue, the Botsalanong Boma offers an unforgettable outdoor experience where delegates can enjoy authentic cuisine beneath the African sky.
Letsatsing Boma
Located within the Letsatsing Game Park, the Letsatsing Boma can host up to 200 guests seated around an intimate bonfire.
The Shebeen
With its eclectic decor and festive atmosphere, this Sun City party venue serves shisa nyama and other local delicacies, and is a popular attraction for delegates wanting an authentic African experience.

With their unique settings and relaxed vibe, our Sun City ‘Air’ venues can be booked for intimate occasions and cocktail parties.
Elephant Atrium
Located next to the Tusk Bar and Lounge at The Palace of the Lost City, the Elephant Atrium is perfect for cocktail parties and can accommodate up to 200 people standing.
Elephant Courtyard
With the awe-inspiring bronze statue of Shawu the Elephant as the focus, treat your delegates to a pre-dinner cocktail in the Elephant Courtyard. Located at The Palace of the Lost City, this Sun City event venue can accommodate up to 400 people in an elegant and private setting.
King Tower
Overlooking the gardens at The Palace of the Lost City, few people know about the King Tower. Standing at 70 metres high, this unique and very special Sun City event venue can be hired for intimate occasions.
Gazebo
Located within the gardens of The Palace of the Lost City, the Gazebo can seat up to 90 guests for a small banquet or private cocktail party.

Small and intimate, the Council Room is only available to guests of The Palace for private meetings.
The Royal Chamber
Perfect for an elegant event with minimal fuss, the Royal Chamber opens onto the terrace and The Palace gardens.
Orchid and Protea Meeting Rooms
The Orchid and Protea meeting rooms are fully equipped to host larger meetings, with each room able to accommodate up to 80 people.

Entertainment
Our Entertainment Department provides a one-stop-shop for all your conferencing needs, gala dinners, product and car launches and any other corporate event. We have experience in staging events from the Miss South Africa pageant to lavish gala dinners, international rock concerts, intimate beach parties at the Valley of the Waves and magnificent African tribal shows in one of our outdoor bomas. Sun City's Entertainment Department supplies state-of-the-art equipment with fully trained technicians needed to make any corporate function a success.
Decor
The Decor Department provides various props and decor that will bring any corporate event to life. From African Elegant themes to fun or fantasy themes... if you can dream it, we will create it!

Information Technology
Our IT team has qualified engineers who can rig the most intricate network to assist with your technology requirements. This includes a simple office set-up or an entire business centre for delegates.

A dedicated team of maintenance engineers are available to assist with a variety of needs. From cabling and plumbing infrastructure, we also take care of all your electrical, generator and water requirements.
Emergency Services
Sun City's Emergency Services team are vigilant in ensuring that safety is prioritised at all times. Floor plans and technical plans are to be drafted in consultation with Sun City's Emergency Services team and, where production companies are outsourced, a Safe Working Agreement is to be signed that confirms the company operates according to the guidelines set out by South African Law.
