Since the new democracy, Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) has been adopted as an initiative of the South African Government aimed at promoting economic transformation in order to enable meaningful participation of black people in the economy.

If you are a registered Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment supplier, meet the requirements for a qualifying Enterprise & Supplier Development Beneficiary, and believe that your product or service will add value to Sun International, we invite you to apply to become a beneficiary of our E&SD programme.

Qualification for E&SD Assistance
To qualify as a potential beneficiary of our Enterprise & Supplier Development programme , suppliers must meet the following requirements as stated in the CoGP:
- Your company or enterprise is greater than or equal to 51% black-owned EME with a valid B-BBEE Affidavit; and/or
- Your company or enterprise is greater than or equal to 51% black-owned QSE with a valid B-BBEE Affidavit.
In addition to the above, as a potential E&SD supplier you are required to:
- Provide a product or service directly related to Sun International’s supply chain
- Have been trading for a minimum of two years
- Demonstrate the ability to become sustainable during the contractual period
- Demonstrate the capacity to repay all business loans within the contractual period
- Demonstrate the capacity to promote job creation through efficient application of development assistance
- Sun International will only enter into agreements with B-BBEE suppliers where regular supplier opportunity exists for the full contractual period

If you would like to apply to be considered for Sun International’s Enterprise and Supplier Development Programme and your South African company meets the standards set out by the dti Codes of Good Practice, complete the online Enterprise and Supplier Development application form which will be submitted to the Supply Development Manager for review.
