Zero-Waste-to-Landfill by 2020
Sun International has embarked on an aggressive Zero-Waste-to-Landfill initiative to be achieved by 2020. Specific timeline goals, as indicate in the diagram below, have been set along this journey to ensure the strategy goal is achieved by 2020.
As part of the journey, Sun City’s landfill site is being decommissioned and capped, and an alternative waste to energy solution is being implemented at the facility.
