COVID-19 Information

12 July 2021

Temporary closure of Sun International properties

All of Sun International’s restaurants and casino properties will remain closed, in line with extended COVID-19 regulations announced by the President last night.

We have also taken the decision to keep some of our Hotels and Resorts closed, including Sun City Resort and Wild Coast Sun. The Table Bay hotel in Cape Town and Boardwalk hotel in Gqeberha will remain open.

Sun International’s online sports betting platform, SunBet, will continue to be operational, as will Federal Palace in Nigeria.

Existing Hotel reservations that are scheduled for arrival up to and including 26 July 2021 can be changed to an alternative date for stay by 30 November 2021 or cancelled at no charge. All deposits will be refunded in case of cancellation. Similarly, Sun Vacation Club reservations can be postponed to a future date or space banked.

Please contact Central Reservations on (011) 780 7800 or for Hotel Reservation enquiries or for Sun Vacation Club enquiries.
